بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

وَٱلْعَصْرِ

вəəль'əср

By Time!

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ

иннəль-иŋŋсəəнə лəфии хуср

Man is indeed in loss,

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِٱلصَّبْرِ

ильлəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вə'əмилююс-сōōлиhəəти вəтəвəəсōу би-ль-həќќи вəтəвəəсōу бис-сōбр

except those who have faith and do righteous deeds, and enjoin one another to [follow] the truth, and enjoin one another to patience.
