بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
тəŋŋзиилюль-китəəби минəл-лаhиль-'əзиизиль-həкиим
The [gradual] sending down of the Book is from Allah, the All-mighty, the All-wise.
مَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ عَمَّآ أُنذِرُواْ مُعْرِضُونَ
мəə хōлəќнəəс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō вəмəə бэйнəhумəə ильлəə би-ль-həќќи вə`əджəлимм-мусəммəн, вəəльлəз̃иинə кəфəруу 'əммəə уŋŋз̃ируу му'ридуун
We did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them except with consummate wisdom and for a specified term. Yet the faithless are disregardful of what they are warned.
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقُواْ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ۖ ٱئْتُونِى بِكِتَٰبٍ مِّن قَبْلِ هَٰذَآ أَوْ أَثَٰرَةٍ مِّنْ عِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
ќуль əрō`əйтум-мəə тəд'уунə миŋŋ-дууниль-лəhи əруунии мəəз̃əə хōлəќуу минəль-əрды əм лəhум ширкун фиис-сəмəəвəəт, у`туунии бикитəəбимм-миŋŋ-ќōбли həəз̃əə əу əc̃əəрōтимм-мин 'ильмин иŋŋ-куŋŋтум сōōдиќиин
Say, ‘Tell me about those you invoke besides Allah. Show me what [part] of the earth have they created. Do they have any share in the heavens? Bring me a scripture [revealed] before this, or some vestige of [divine] knowledge, if you are truthful.’
وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدْعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَن لَّا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَهُمْ عَن دُعَآئِهِمْ غَٰفِلُونَ
вəмəн əдōллю миммəй-йəд'уу миŋŋ-дууниль-лəhи мəль-лəə йəстəджиибу лəhу илəə йəумиль-ќийəəмəти вəhум 'əŋŋ-ду'əə`иhим ґōōфилююн
Who is more astray than him who invokes besides Allah such [entities] as would not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection, and who are oblivious of their invocation?
وَإِذَا حُشِرَ ٱلنَّاسُ كَانُواْ لَهُمْ أَعْدَآءً وَكَانُواْ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَٰفِرِينَ
вə`из̃əə hуширōн-нəəсу кəəнуу лəhум ə'дəə`əу-вəкəəнуу би'ибəəдəтиhим кəəфириин
When mankind are mustered [on Judgement’s Day] they will be their enemies, and they will disavow their worship.
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
вə`из̃əə тутлəə 'əлэйhим əəйəəтунəə бэййинəəтин ќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу ли-ль-həќќи лəммəə джəə`əhум həəз̃əə сиhрумм-мубиин
When Our manifest signs are recited to them, the faithless say of the truth when it comes to them: ‘This is plain magic.’
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖ قُلْ إِنِ ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥ فَلَا تَمْلِكُونَ لِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۖ كَفَىٰ بِهِۦ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
əм йəќуулююнə-фтəрōōh, ќуль ини-фтəрōйтуhу фəлəə тəмликуунə лии минəл-лаhи шэй`ə, hувə ə'лəму бимəə туфиидуунə фииh, кəфəə биhи шəhиидəмм-бэйнии вəбэйнəкум, вəhувəль-ґōфуурур-рōhиим
Or they say, ‘He has fabricated it.’ Say, ‘Should I have fabricated it, you would not avail me anything against Allah. He best knows what you gossip concerning it. He suffices as a witness between me and you, and He is the All-forgiving, the All-merciful.’
قُلْ مَا كُنتُ بِدْعًا مِّنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ وَمَآ أَدْرِى مَا يُفْعَلُ بِى وَلَا بِكُمْ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
ќуль мəə куŋŋту бид'əмм-минəр-русули вəмəə əдрии мəə йуф'əлю бии вəлəə бикум, ин əттəби'у ильлəə мəə йууhəə илəййə вəмəə əнəə ильлəə нəз̃иирумм-мубиин
Say, ‘I am not a novelty among the apostles, nor do I know what will be done with me, or with you. I just follow whatever is revealed to me, and I am just a manifest warner.’
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَفَرْتُم بِهِۦ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ عَلَىٰ مِثْلِهِۦ فَـَٔامَنَ وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
ќуль əрō`əйтум иŋŋ-кəəнə мин 'иŋŋдиль-лəhи вəкəфəртумм-биhи вəшəhидə шəəhидумм-мимм-бəнии исрōō`иилə 'əлəə миc̃лиhи фə`əəмəнə вəəстəкбəртум, иннəл-лаhə лəə йəhдииль-ќōумəз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
Say, ‘Tell me, if it is from Allah and you disbelieve in it, and a witness from the Children of Israel has testified to its like and believed [in it], while you are disdainful [of it]?’ Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot.
