يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نُودِىَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوْمِ ٱلْجُمُعَةِ فَٱسْعَوْاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُواْ ٱلْبَيْعَ  ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

йəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу из̃əə нуудийə лис-сōлəəти мий-йəумиль-джуму'əти фəəс'əу илəə з̃икриль-лəhи вəз̃əрууль-бэй', з̃əəликум хōйруль-лəкум иŋŋ-куŋŋтум тə'лəмуун

O you who have faith! When the call is made for prayer on Friday, hurry toward the remembrance of Allah, and leave all business. That is better for you, should you know.

فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُواْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذْكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

фə`из̃əə ќудыйəтис-сōлəəту фəəŋŋтəшируу фииль-əрды вəəбтəґуу миŋŋ-фəдлиль-лəhи вəəз̃куруул-лаhə кəc̃иирōль-лə'əльлəкум туфлиhуун

And when the prayer is finished disperse through the land and seek Allah’s grace, and remember Allah much so that you may be felicitous.

وَإِذَا رَأَوْاْ تِجَٰرَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا ٱنفَضُّوٓاْ إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآئِمًا  ۚ قُلْ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِ  ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ

вə`из̃əə рō`əу тиджəəрōтəн əу лəhвəн-ŋŋфəддуу илəйhəə вəтəрōкуукə ќōō`имə, ќуль мəə 'иŋŋдəл-лаhи хōйрумм-минəл-лаhви вəминəт-тиджəəрōh, вəл-лаhу хōйрур-рōōзиќиин

When they sight a deal or a diversion, they scatter off towards it and leave you standing! Say, ‘What is with Allah is better than diversion and dealing, and Allah is the best of providers.’

إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

из̃əə джəə`əкəль-мунəəфиќуунə ќōōлюю нəшhəду иннəкə лəрōсуулюл-лаhи вəл-лаhу йə'лəму иннəкə лəрōсуулюhу вəл-лаhу йəшhəду иннəль-мунəəфиќиинə лəкəəз̃ибуун

When the hypocrites come to you they say, ‘We bear witness that you are indeed the apostle of Allah.’ Allah knows that you are indeed His Apostle, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars.

ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ  ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

иттəхōз̃уу əймəəнəhум джуннəтəн фəсōддуу 'əŋŋ-сəбиилиль-лəh, иннəhум сəə`ə мəə кəəнуу йə'мəлююн

They make a shield of their oaths, and bar from the way of Allah. Evil indeed is what they used to do.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

з̃əəликə би`əннəhум əəмəнуу c̃уммə кəфəруу фəтуби'ə 'əлəə ќулююбиhим фəhум лəə йəфќōhуун

That is because they believed and then disbelieved, so their hearts were sealed. Hence, they do not understand.

 ۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ  ۖ وَإِن يَقُولُواْ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ  ۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ  ۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ  ۚ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ  ۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ  ۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

вə`из̃əə рō`əйтəhум ту'джибукə əджсəəмуhум, вə`ий-йəќуулюю тəсмə' лиќōулиhим, кə`əннəhум хушубумм-мусəннəдəh, йəhсəбуунə кульлə сōйhəтин 'əлэйhим, hумуль-'əдууву фəəhз̃əрhум, ќōōтəлəhумул-лаh, əннəə йу`фəкуун

When you see them, their bodies impress you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. Yet they are like dry logs set reclining [against a wall]. They suppose every cry is directed against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah assail them, where do they stray?!
