۞ لَّيْسَ ٱلْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْبِرَّ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ وَءَاتَى ٱلْمَالَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ ذَوِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينَ وَٱبْنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَٱلسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِى ٱلرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَٰهَدُواْ  ۖ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ فِى ٱلْبَأْسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَحِينَ ٱلْبَأْسِ  ۗ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ  ۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ

лэйсəль-биррō əŋŋ-тувəллюю вуджууhəкум ќибəлəль-мəшриќи вəəльмəґриби вəлəəкиннəль-биррō мəн əəмəнə биль-лəhи вəəльйəумиль-əəхыри вəəльмəлəə`икəти вəəлькитəəби вəн-нəбиййиинə вə`əəтəəль-мəəлə 'əлəə hуббиhи з̃əвииль-ќурбəə вəəльйəтəəмəə вəəльмəсəəкиинə вəəбнəс-сəбиили вəс-сəə`илиинə вəфиир-риќōōби вə`əќōōмəс-сōлəəтə вə`əəтəəз-зəкəəтə вəəльмууфуунə би'əhдиhим из̃əə 'əəhəдуу, вəс-сōōбириинə фииль-бə`сəə`и вəд-дōррōō`и вəhиинəль-бə`с, уулəə`икəль-лəз̃иинə сōдəќуу, вə`уулəə`икə hумуль-муттəќуун

Piety is not to turn your faces to the east or the west; rather, piety is [personified by] those who have faith in Allah and the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets, and who give their wealth, for the love of Him, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveller and the beggar, and for [the freeing of] the slaves, and maintain the prayer and give the zakat, and those who fulfill their covenants, when they pledge themselves, and those who are patient in stress and distress, and in the heat of battle. They are the ones who are true [to their covenant], and it is they who are the Godwary.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِصَاصُ فِى ٱلْقَتْلَى  ۖ ٱلْحُرُّ بِٱلْحُرِّ وَٱلْعَبْدُ بِٱلْعَبْدِ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰ بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ  ۚ فَمَنْ عُفِىَ لَهُۥ مِنْ أَخِيهِ شَىْءٌ فَٱتِّبَاعٌۢ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَآءٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَٰنٍ  ۗ ذَٰلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ  ۗ فَمَنِ ٱعْتَدَىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

йəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу кутибə 'əлэйкумуль-ќисōōсу фииль-ќōтлəə, əльhурру би-ль-hурри вəəль'əбду би-ль-'əбди вəəль`уŋŋc̃əə би-ль-уŋŋc̃əə, фəмəн 'уфийə лəhу мин əхыыhи шэй`ун фəəттибəə'умм-би-ль-мə'рууфи вə`əдəə`ун илəйhи би`иhсəəн, з̃əəликə тəхфиифумм-мир-рōббикум вəрōhмəh, фəмəни-'тəдəə бə'дə з̃əəликə фəлəhу 'əз̃əəбун əлиим

O you who have faith! Retribution is prescribed for you regarding the slain: freeman for freeman, slave for slave, and female for female. But if one is granted any extenuation by his brother, let the follow up [for the blood-money] be honourable, and let the payment to him be with kindness. That is a remission from your Lord and a mercy; and should anyone transgress after that, there shall be a painful punishment for him.

وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٌ يَٰٓأُوْلِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

вəлəкум фииль-ќисōōсы həйəəтуй-йəə уулииль-əльбəəби лə'əльлəкум тəттəќуун

There is life for you in retribution, O you who possess intellects! Maybe you will be Godwary!

كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا ٱلْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ  ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

кутибə 'əлэйкум из̃əə həдōрō əhəдəкумуль-мəуту иŋŋ-тəрōкə хōйрōнль-вəсыййəту ли-ль-вəəлидəйни вəəль`əќрōбиинə би-ль-мə'рууф, həќќōн 'əлəəль-муттəќиин

Prescribed for you, when death approaches any of you and he leaves behind any property, is that he make a bequest for his parents and relatives, in an honourable manner—an obligation on the Godwary.

فَمَنۢ بَدَّلَهُۥ بَعْدَمَا سَمِعَهُۥ فَإِنَّمَآ إِثْمُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُۥٓ  ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

фəмəмм-бəддəлəhу бə'дəмəə сəми'əhу фə`иннəмəə иc̃муhу 'əлəəль-лəз̃иинə йубəддилююнəh, иннəл-лаhə сəмии'ун 'əлиим

And should anyone alter it after hearing it, its sin shall indeed lie on those who alter it. Indeed Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.
