27:41

قَالَ نَكِّرُواْ لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنظُرْ أَتَهْتَدِىٓ أَمْ تَكُونُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ

ќōōлə нəккируу лəhəə 'əршəhəə нəŋŋз̃ур əтəhтəдии əм тəкууну минəль-лəз̃иинə лəə йəhтəдуун

He said, ‘Disguise her throne for her, so that we may see whether she is discerning or if she is one of the undiscerning ones.’

27:42

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ  ۖ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ  ۚ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ

фəлəммəə джəə`əт ќиилə əhəəкəз̃əə 'əршук, ќōōлəт кə`əннəhу hуу, вə`уутиинəəль-'ильмə миŋŋ-ќōблиhəə вəкуннəə муслимиин

So when she came, it was said [to her], ‘Is your throne like this one?’ She said, ‘It seems to be the same, and we were informed before it, and we had submitted.’

27:43

وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ  ۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍ كَٰفِرِينَ

вəсōддəhəə мəə кəəнəт-тə'буду миŋŋ-дууниль-лəh, иннəhəə кəəнəт миŋŋ-ќōумин кəəфириин

She had been barred [from the way of Allah] by what she used to worship besides Allah, for she belonged to a faithless people.

27:44

قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدْخُلِى ٱلصَّرْحَ  ۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا  ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ  ۗ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

ќиилə лəhəə-дхулиис-сōрh, фəлəммəə рō`əтhу həсибəтhу люджджəтəу-вəкəшəфəт 'əŋŋ-сəəќōйhəə, ќōōлə иннəhу сōрhумм-мумəррōдумм-миŋŋ-ќōвəəриир, ќōōлəт рōбби иннии з̃ōлəмту нəфсии вə`əслəмту мə'ə сулəймəəнə лильлəhи рōббиль-'əəлəмиин

It was said to her, ‘Enter the palace.’ So when she saw it, she supposed it to be a pool of water, and she bared her shanks. He said, ‘It is a palace paved with crystal.’ She said, ‘My Lord! Indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.’

27:45

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

вəлəќōд əрсəльнəə илəə c̃əмуудə əхōōhум сōōлиhəн əни-'будуул-лаhə фə`из̃əə hум фəрииќōōни йəхтəсымуун

Certainly We sent to Thamud Salih, their brother, [with the summons:] ‘Worship Allah!’ But thereat they became two groups contending with each other.

27:46

قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ  ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

ќōōлə йəə ќōуми лимə тəстə'джилююнə бис-сəййи`əти ќōблəль-həсəнəh, лəулəə тəстəґфируунəл-лаhə лə'əльлəкум турhəмуун

He said, ‘O My people! Why do you press for evil sooner than for good? Why do you not plead to Allah for forgiveness so that you may receive His mercy?’

27:47

قَالُواْ ٱطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَن مَّعَكَ  ۚ قَالَ طَٰٓئِرُكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ  ۖ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُونَ

ќōōлюю-ттōййəрнəə бикə вəбимəмм-мə'əк, ќōōлə тōō`ирукум 'иŋŋдəл-лаh, бəль əŋŋтум ќōумун туфтəнуун

They said, ‘We take you and those who are with you for a bad omen.’ He said, ‘Your bad omens are from Allah. Indeed, you are a people being tested.’

27:48

وَكَانَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ

вəкəəнə фииль-мəдиинəти тис'əту рōhтый-йуфсидуунə фииль-əрды вəлəə йуслиhуун

There were nine persons in the city who caused corruption in the land and did not set things right.

27:49

قَالُواْ تَقَاسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

ќōōлюю тəќōōсəмуу биль-лəhи лəнубəййитəннəhу вə`əhлəhу c̃уммə лəнəќуулəннə ливəлиййиhи мəə шəhиднəə мəhликə əhлиhи вə`иннəə лəсōōдиќуун

They said, ‘Swear by Allah that we will attack him and his family by night. Then we will tell his heir that we were not present at the murder of his family and that we speak the truth.’

27:50

وَمَكَرُواْ مَكْرًا وَمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

вəмəкəруу мəкрōу-вəмəкəрнəə мəкрōу-вəhум лəə йəш'уруун

They devised a plot, and We [too] devised a plan, but they were not aware.
