إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

иннəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу сəвəə`ун 'əлэйhим ə`əŋŋз̃əртəhум əм лəм туŋŋз̃ирhум лəə йу`минуун

As for the faithless, it is the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not have faith.

خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ  ۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ غِشَٰوَةٌ  ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

хōтəмəл-лаhу 'əлəə ќулююбиhим вə'əлəə сəм'иhим, вə'əлəə əбсōōриhим ґишəəвəh, вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун 'əз̃ыым

Allah has set a seal on their hearts and their hearing, and there is a blindfold on their sight, and there is a great punishment for them.

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

вəминəн-нəəси мəй-йəќуулю əəмəннəə биль-лəhи вəби-ль-йəумиль-əəхыри вəмəə hумм-биму`миниин

Among the people are those who say, ‘We have faith in Allah and the Last Day,’ but they have no faith.

يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

йухōōди'уунəл-лаhə вəəльлəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вəмəə йəхдə'уунə ильлəə əŋŋфусəhум вəмəə йəш'уруун

They seek to deceive Allah and those who have faith, yet they deceive no one but themselves, but they are not aware.

فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضًا  ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْذِبُونَ

фии ќулююбиhим-мəрōдун фəзəəдəhумул-лаhу мəрōдō, вəлəhум 'əз̃əəбун əлиимумм-бимəə кəəнуу йəкз̃ибуун

There is a sickness in their hearts; then Allah increased their sickness, and there is a painful punishment for them because of the lies they used to tell.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُواْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ

вə`из̃əə ќиилə лəhум лəə туфсидуу фииль-əрды ќōōлюю иннəмəə нəhну муслиhуун

When they are told, ‘Do not cause corruption on the earth,’ they say, ‘We are only reformers!’

أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ

əлəə иннəhум hумуль-муфсидуунə вəлəəкиль-лəə йəш'уруун

Behold! They are themselves the agents of corruption, but they are not aware.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ ءَامِنُواْ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلنَّاسُ قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ  ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ

вə`из̃əə ќиилə лəhум əəминуу кəмəə əəмəнəн-нəəсу ќōōлюю əну`мину кəмəə əəмəнəс-суфəhəə, əлəə иннəhум hумус-суфəhəə`у вəлəəкиль-лəə йə'лəмуун

And when they are told, ‘Believe like the people who have believed,’ they say, ‘Shall we believe like the fools who have believed?’ Behold! They are themselves the fools, but they do not know.

وَإِذَا لَقُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْاْ إِلَىٰ شَيَٰطِينِهِمْ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِءُونَ

вə`из̃əə лəќууль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу ќōōлюю əəмəннəə вə`из̃əə хōлəу илəə шəйəəтыыниhим ќōōлюю иннəə мə'əкум иннəмəə нəhну мустəhзи`уун

When they meet the faithful, they say, ‘We believe,’ but when they are alone with their devils, they say, ‘We are with you; we were only deriding [them].’

ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

аллаhу йəстəhзи`у биhим вəйəмуддуhум фии туґйəəниhим йə'мəhуун

It is Allah who derides them, and leaves them bewildered in their rebellion.

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُاْ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ فَمَا رَبِحَت تِّجَٰرَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ

уулəə`икəль-лəз̃иинə-штəрōвуд-дōлəəлəтə би-ль-hудəə фəмəə рōбиhəт-тиджəəрōтуhум вəмəə кəəнуу муhтəдиин

They are the ones who bought error for guidance, so their trade did not profit them, nor were they guided.
