ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًا وَلَعِبًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ فَٱلْيَوْمَ نَنسَىٰهُمْ كَمَا نَسُواْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ
əльлəз̃иинə-ттəхōз̃уу диинəhум лəhвəу-вəлə'ибəу-вəґōррōтhумуль-həйəəтуд-дунйəə, фəəльйəумə нəŋŋсəəhум кəмəə нəсуу лиќōō`ə йəумиhим həəз̃əə вəмəə кəəнуу би`əəйəəтинəə йəджhəдуун
Those who took their religion for diversion and play and whom the life of the world had deceived. So today, We will forget them as they forgot the encounter of this day of theirs, and as they used to impugn Our signs.
وَلَقَدْ جِئْنَٰهُم بِكِتَٰبٍ فَصَّلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
вəлəќōд джи`нəəhумм-бикитəəбин фəссōльнəəhу 'əлəə 'ильмин hудəу-вəрōhмəтəл-лиќōумий-йу`минуун
Certainly We have brought them a Book, which We have elaborated with knowledge, as a guidance and mercy for a people who have faith.
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيلَهُۥ ۚ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى تَأْوِيلُهُۥ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَآءَ فَيَشْفَعُواْ لَنَآ أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ
həль йəŋŋз̃уруунə ильлəə тə`виилəh, йəумə йə`тии тə`виилюhу йəќуулюль-лəз̃иинə нəсууhу миŋŋ-ќōблю ќōд джəə`əт русулю рōббинəə би-ль-həќќи фəhəль-лəнəə миŋŋ-шуфə'əə`ə фəйəшфə'уу лəнəə əу нурōдду фəнə'мəлə ґōйрōль-лəз̃ии куннəə нə'мəль, ќōд хōсируу əŋŋфусəhум вəдōльлə 'əнhум-мəə кəəнуу йəфтəруун
Do they not consider [the consequences of] its fulfillment? The day when its fulfillment comes, those who had forgotten it before will say, ‘Our Lord’s apostles had certainly brought the truth. If only we had some intercessors to intercede for us, or we would be returned, so that we may do differently from what we did!’ They have certainly ruined their souls, and what they used to fabricate has forsaken them.
إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۭ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلْخَلْقُ وَٱلْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
иннə рōббəкумул-лаhуль-лəз̃ии хōлəќōс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō фии ситтəти əййəəмин c̃уммə-стəвəə 'əлəəль-'əрши йуґшииль-лэйлəн-нəhəəрō йəтлюбуhу həc̃ииc̃əу-вəш-шəмсə вəəльќōмəрō вəн-нуджуумə мусəххōрōōтимм-би`əмриh, əлəə лəhуль-хōльќу вəəль`əмр, тəбəəрōкəл-лаhу рōббуль-'əəлəмиин
Indeed your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then settled on the Throne. He draws the night’s cover over the day, which pursues it swiftly, and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, [all of them] disposed by His command. Look! All creation and command belong to Him. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
ٱدْعُواْ رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
уд'уу рōббəкум тəдōрру'əу-вəхуфйəh, иннəhу лəə йуhиббуль-му'тəдиин
Supplicate your Lord, beseechingly and secretly. Indeed, He does not like the transgressors.
وَلَا تُفْسِدُواْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَٰحِهَا وَٱدْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا ۚ إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
вəлəə туфсидуу фииль-əрды бə'дə ислəəhиhəə вəəд'ууhу хōуфəу-вəтōмə'ə, иннə рōhмəтəл-лаhи ќōриибумм-минəль-муhсиниин
And do not cause corruption on the earth after its restoration, and supplicate Him with fear and hope: indeed Allah’s mercy is close to the virtuous.
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَقَلَّتْ سَحَابًا ثِقَالًا سُقْنَٰهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَنزَلْنَا بِهِ ٱلْمَآءَ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
вəhувəль-лəз̃ии йурсилюр-рийəəhə бушрōмм-бэйнə йəдəй рōhмəтиh, həттəə из̃əə əќōльлəт сəhəəбəн c̃иќōōлəн суќнəəhу либəлəдимм-мəййитин фə`əŋŋзəльнəə биhиль-мəə`ə фə`əхрōджнəə биhи миŋŋ-куллиc̃-c̃əмəрōōт, кəз̃əəликə нухриджуль-мəутəə лə'əльлəкум тəз̃əккəруун
It is He who sends forth the winds as harbingers of His mercy. When they bear [rain-] laden clouds, We drive them toward a dead land and send down water on it, and with it We bring forth all kinds of crops. Thus shall We raise the dead; maybe you will take admonition.
وَٱلْبَلَدُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ يَخْرُجُ نَبَاتُهُۥ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ ۖ وَٱلَّذِى خَبُثَ لَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَّا نَكِدًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَشْكُرُونَ
вəəльбəлəдут-тōййибу йəхруджу нəбəəтуhу би`из̃ни рōббиh, вəəльлəз̃ии хōбуc̃ə лəə йəхруджу ильлəə нəкидə, кəз̃əəликə нусōррифуль-əəйəəти лиќōумий-йəшкуруун
The good land—its vegetation comes out by the permission of its Lord, and as for that which is bad, it does not come out except sparsely. Thus do We paraphrase the signs variously for a people who give thanks.
لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فَقَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
лəќōд əрсəльнəə нууhəн илəə ќōумиhи фəќōōлə йəə ќōуми-'будуул-лаhə мəə лəкум-мин илəəhин ґōйруhу иннии əхōōфу 'əлэйкум 'əз̃əəбə йəумин 'əз̃ыым
Certainly We sent Noah to his people. He said, ‘O my people, worship Allah! You have no other god besides Him. Indeed I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous day.’
