بَرَآءَةٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
бəрōō`əтумм-минəл-лаhи вəрōсуулиhи илəəль-лəз̃иинə 'əəhəттум-минəль-мушрикиин
[This is] a [declaration of] repudiation by Allah and His Apostle [addressed] to the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty:
فَسِيحُواْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَٱعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى ٱللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْزِى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
фəсииhуу фииль-əрды əрбə'əтə əшhуриу-вəə'лəмуу əннəкум ґōйру му'джизиил-лаhи вə`əннəл-лаhə мухзииль-кəəфириин
Travel [unmolested] in the land for four months, but know that you cannot frustrate Allah, and that Allah shall disgrace the faithless.
وَأَذَٰنٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَوْمَ ٱلْحَجِّ ٱلْأَكْبَرِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَرِىٓءٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ۙ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚ فَإِن تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَٱعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
вə`əз̃əəнумм-минəл-лаhи вəрōсуулиhи илəəн-нəəси йəумəль-həджджиль-əкбəри əннəл-лаhə бəрии`умм-минəль-мушрикиинə вəрōсуулюh, фə`иŋŋ-тубтум фəhувə хōйруль-лəкум, вə`иŋŋ-тəвəльлəйтум фəə'лəмуу əннəкум ґōйру му'джизиил-лаh, вəбəшшириль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу би'əз̃əəбин əлиим
[This is] an announcement from Allah and His Apostle to all the people on the day of the greater Hajj: that Allah and His Apostle repudiate the polytheists: If you repent that is better for you; but if you turn your backs [on Allah], know that you cannot frustrate Allah, and inform the faithless of a painful punishment
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَمْ يُظَٰهِرُواْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّوٓاْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
ильлəəль-лəз̃иинə 'əəhəттум-минəль-мушрикиинə c̃уммə лəм йəŋŋќусуукум шэй`əу-вəлəм йуз̃ōōhируу 'əлэйкум əhəдəн фə`əтиммуу илəйhим 'əhдəhум илəə муддəтиhим, иннəл-лаhə йуhиббуль-муттəќиин
(barring the polytheists with whom you have made a treaty, and who did not violate any [of its terms] with you, nor backed anyone against you. So fulfill the treaty with them until [the end of] its term. Indeed Allah loves the Godwary).
فَإِذَا ٱنسَلَخَ ٱلْأَشْهُرُ ٱلْحُرُمُ فَٱقْتُلُواْ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَٱحْصُرُوهُمْ وَٱقْعُدُواْ لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِن تَابُواْ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُاْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَخَلُّواْ سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
фə`из̃əə-ŋŋсəлəхōль-əшhуруль-hуруму фəəќтулююль-мушрикиинə həйc̃у вəджəттумууhум вəхуз̃ууhум вəəhсурууhум вəəќ'удуу лəhум кульлə мəрсōд, фə`иŋŋ-тəəбуу вə`əќōōмуус-сōлəəтə вə`əəтəвуз-зəкəəтə фəхōллюю сəбиилəhум, иннəл-лаhə ґōфуурур-рōhиим
Then, when the sacred months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, and maintain the prayer and give the zakat, then let them alone. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
وَإِنْ أَحَدٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ٱسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسْمَعَ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُۥ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ
вə`ин əhəдумм-минəль-мушрикиинə-стəджəəрōкə фə`əджирhу həттəə йəсмə'ə кəлəəмəл-лаhи c̃уммə əблиґhу мə`мəнəh, з̃əəликə би`əннəhум ќōумуль-лəə йə'лəмуун
If any of the polytheists seeks asylum from you, grant him asylum until he hears the Word of Allah. Then convey him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.
كَيْفَ يَكُونُ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ عَهْدٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ رَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّمْ عِندَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۖ فَمَا ٱسْتَقَٰمُواْ لَكُمْ فَٱسْتَقِيمُواْ لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
кəйфə йəкууну ли-ль-мушрикиинə 'əhдун 'иŋŋдəл-лаhи вə'иŋŋдə рōсуулиhи ильлəəль-лəз̃иинə 'əəhəттум 'иŋŋдəль-мəсджидиль-həрōōм, фəмəə-стəќōōмуу лəкум фəəстəќиимуу лəhум, иннəл-лаhə йуhиббуль-муттəќиин
How shall the polytheists have any [valid] treaty with Allah and His Apostle?! (Barring those with whom you made a treaty at the Holy Mosque; so long as they are steadfast with you, be steadfast with them. Indeed Allah loves the Godwary.)
كَيْفَ وَإِن يَظْهَرُواْ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُواْ فِيكُمْ إِلًّا وَلَا ذِمَّةً ۚ يُرْضُونَكُم بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتَأْبَىٰ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ فَٰسِقُونَ
кəйфə вə`ий-йəз̃həруу 'əлэйкум лəə йəрќубуу фиикум ильлəу-вəлəə з̃иммəh, йурдуунəкумм-би`əфвəəhиhим вəтə`бəə ќулююбуhум вə`əкc̃əруhум фəəсиќуун
How? For if, they get the better of you, they will observe toward you neither kinship nor covenant. They please you with their mouths while their hearts spurn you; and most of them are transgressors.
ٱشْتَرَوْاْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ
иштəрōу би`əəйəəтиль-лəhи c̃əмəнəн ќōлиилəн фəсōддуу 'əŋŋ-сəбиилиh, иннəhум сəə`ə мəə кəəнуу йə'мəлююн
They have sold the signs of Allah for a paltry gain, and have barred [the people] from His way. Evil indeed is what they have been doing.
