وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ مُنَٰفِقُونَ  ۖ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ  ۖ مَرَدُواْ عَلَى ٱلنِّفَاقِ لَا تَعْلَمُهُمْ  ۖ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْ  ۚ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٍ

вəмиммəн həулəкум-минəль-ə'рōōби мунəəфиќуун, вəмин əhлиль-мəдиинəh, мəрōдуу 'əлəəн-нифəəќи лəə тə'лəмуhум, нəhну нə'лəмуhум, сəну'əз̃з̃ибуhум-мəррōтəйни c̃уммə йурōддуунə илəə 'əз̃əəбин 'əз̃ыым

There are hypocrites among the Bedouins around you and among the townspeople of Madinah, steeped in hypocrisy. You do not know them; We know them, and We will punish them twice, then they shall be consigned to a great punishment.

وَءَاخَرُونَ ٱعْتَرَفُواْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ خَلَطُواْ عَمَلًا صَٰلِحًا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ  ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

вə`əəхōруунə-'тəрōфуу биз̃унуубиhим хōлəтуу 'əмəлəн сōōлиhəу-вə`əəхōрō сəййи`əн 'əсəл-лаhу əй-йəтуубə 'əлэйhим, иннəл-лаhə ґōфуурур-рōhиим

[There are] others who have confessed to their sins, having mixed up righteous conduct with other that was evil. Maybe Allah will accept their repentance. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ  ۖ إِنَّ صَلَوٰتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَّهُمْ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

хуз̃ мин əмвəəлиhим сōдəќōтəн тутōhhируhум вəтузəккииhимм-биhəə вəсōлли 'əлэйhим, иннə сōлəəтəкə сəкəнуль-лəhум, вəл-лаhу сəмии'ун 'əлиим

Take charity from their possessions to cleanse them and purify them thereby, and bless them. Indeed your blessing is a comfort to them, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.

أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ ٱلتَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَأْخُذُ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

əлəм йə'лəмуу əннəл-лаhə hувə йəќбəлют-тəубəтə 'əн 'ибəəдиhи вəйə`хуз̃ус-сōдəќōōти вə`əннəл-лаhə hувəт-тəувəəбур-рōhиим

Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts the repentance of His servants and receives the charities, and that it is Allah who is the All-clement, the All-merciful?

وَقُلِ ٱعْمَلُواْ فَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ  ۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

вəќули-'мəлюю фəсəйəрōōл-лаhу 'əмəлəкум вəрōсуулюhу вəəльму`минуун, вəсəтурōддуунə илəə 'əəлимиль-ґōйби вəш-шəhəəдəти фəйунəбби`укумм-бимəə куŋŋтум тə'мəлююн

And say, ‘Go on working: Allah will see your conduct, and His Apostle and the faithful [as well], and you will be returned to the Knower of the sensible and the Unseen, and He will inform you concerning what you used to do.

وَءَاخَرُونَ مُرْجَوْنَ لِأَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمْ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

вə`əəхōруунə мурджəунə ли`əмриль-лəhи иммəə йу'əз̃з̃ибуhум вə`иммəə йəтуубу 'əлэйhим, вəл-лаhу 'əлиимун həкиим

[There are] others waiting Allah’s edict: either He shall punish them, or turn to them clemently, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مَسْجِدًا ضِرَارًا وَكُفْرًا وَتَفْرِيقًۢا بَيْنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِرْصَادًا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ  ۚ وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ  ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

вəəльлəз̃иинə-ттəхōз̃уу мəсджидəн дырōōрōу-вəкуфрōу-вəтəфрииќōмм-бэйнəль-му`миниинə вə`ирсōōдəл-лимəн həəрōбəл-лаhə вəрōсуулəhу миŋŋ-ќōбль, вəлəйəhлифуннə ин əрōднəə ильлəəль-hуснəə, вəл-лаhу йəшhəду иннəhум лəкəəз̃ибуун

As for those who took to a mosque for sabotage and for defiance, and to cause division among the faithful, and for the purpose of ambush [used] by those who have fought Allah and His Apostle before—they will surely swear, ‘We desired nothing but good,’ and Allah bears witness that they are indeed liars.

لَا تَقُمْ فِيهِ أَبَدًا  ۚ لَّمَسْجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنْ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِ  ۚ فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُواْ  ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُطَّهِّرِينَ

лəə тəќум фииhи əбəдə, лəмəсджидун уссисə 'əлəəт-тəќвəə мин əувəли йəумин əhəќќу əŋŋ-тəќуумə фииh, фииhи риджəəлюй-йуhиббуунə əй-йəтəтōhhəруу, вəл-лаhу йуhиббуль-муттōhhириин

Do not stand in it ever! A mosque founded on Godwariness from the [very] first day is worthier that you stand in it [for prayer]. Therein are men who love to keep pure, and Allah loves those who keep pure.

أَفَمَنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ تَقْوَىٰ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنٍ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍ فَٱنْهَارَ بِهِۦ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

əфəмəн əссəсə бунйəəнəhу 'əлəə тəќвəə минəл-лаhи вəридвəəнин хōйрун əм-мəн əссəсə бунйəəнəhу 'əлəə шəфəə джуруфин həəрин фəəнhəəрō биhи фии нəəри джəhəннəм, вəл-лаhу лəə йəhдииль-ќōумəз̃-з̃ōōлимиин

Is he who founds his building on Godwariness and [the pursuit of Allah’s] pleasure better-off or he who founds his building on the brink of a collapsing bank which collapses with him into the fire of hell? Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot.

لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَٰنُهُمُ ٱلَّذِى بَنَوْاْ رِيبَةً فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَّآ أَن تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

лəə йəзəəлю бунйəəнуhумуль-лəз̃ии бəнəу риибəтəн фии ќулююбиhим ильлəə əŋŋ-тəќōттō'ə ќулююбуhум, вəл-лаhу 'əлиимун həкиим

The building they have built will never cease to be [a source of] disquiet in their hearts until their hearts are cut into pieces, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
