بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

الٓر  ۚ كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

Алиф, лəм, ра. китəəбун əŋŋзəльнəəhу илəйкə литухриджəн-нəəсə минəз̃-з̃улюмəəти илəəн-нуури би`из̃ни рōббиhим илəə сырōōтыль-'əзиизиль-həмиид

Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book We have sent down to you that you may bring mankind out from darkness into light, by the command of their Lord, to the path of the All-mighty, the All-laudable

ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ  ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ

аллаhиль-лəз̃ии лəhу мəə фиис-сəмəəвəəти вəмəə фииль-əрд, вəвəйлюл-ли-ль-кəəфириинə мин 'əз̃əəбин шəдиид

—Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Woe to the faithless for a severe punishment

ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا  ۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ

əльлəз̃иинə йəстəhиббуунəль-həйəəтəд-дунйəə 'əлəəль-əəхырōти вəйəсуддуунə 'əŋŋ-сəбиилиль-лəhи вəйəбґуунəhəə 'ивəджə, уулəə`икə фии дōлəəлимм-бə'иид

—those who prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter, and bar [others] from the way of Allah, and seek to make it crooked. They are in extreme error.

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِۦ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ  ۖ فَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ  ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

вəмəə əрсəльнəə мир-рōсуулин ильлəə билисəəни ќōумиhи лийубəййинə лəhум, фəйудыллюл-лаhу мəй-йəшəə`у вəйəhдии мəй-йəшəə, вəhувəль-'əзиизуль-həкиим

We did not send any apostle except with the language of his people, so that he might make [Our messages] clear to them. Then Allah leads astray whomever He wishes, and He guides whomsoever He wishes, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِ  ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

вəлəќōд əрсəльнəə муусəə би`əəйəəтинəə əн əхридж ќōумəкə минəз̃-з̃улюмəəти илəəн-нуури вəз̃əккирhумм-би`əййəəмиль-лəh, иннə фии з̃əəликə лə`əəйəəтил-ликулли сōббəəрин шəкуур

Certainly We sent Moses with Our signs: ‘Bring your people out from darkness into light and remind them of Allah’s [holy] days. There are indeed signs in that for every patient and grateful [servant].’

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ ٱذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ  ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ

вə`из̃ ќōōлə муусəə лиќōумиhи-з̃куруу ни'мəтəл-лаhи 'əлэйкум из̃ əŋŋджəəкум-мин əəли фир'əунə йəсуумуунəкум суу`əль-'əз̃əəби вəйуз̃əббиhуунə əбнəə`əкум вəйəстəhйуунə нисəə`əкум, вəфии з̃əəликумм-бəлəə`умм-мир-рōббикум 'əз̃ыым

When Moses said to his people, ‘Remember Allah’s blessing upon you when He delivered you from Pharaoh’s clan who inflicted a terrible torment on you, and slaughtered your sons and spared your women, and in that there was a great test from your Lord.

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ  ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌ

вə`из̃ тə`əз̃з̃əнə рōббукум лə`иŋŋ-шəкəртум лə`əзиидəннəкум, вəлə`иŋŋ-кəфəртум иннə 'əз̃əəбии лəшəдиид

And when your Lord proclaimed, “If you are grateful, I will surely enhance you [in blessing], but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is indeed severe.” ’

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِن تَكْفُرُوٓاْ أَنتُمْ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ

вəќōōлə муусəə иŋŋ-тəкфуруу əŋŋтум вəмəŋŋ-фииль-əрды джəмии'əн фə`иннəл-лаhə лəґōниййун həмиид

And Moses said, ‘Should you be faithless,—you and everyone on the earth, all together—indeed Allah is all-sufficient, all-laudable.’

أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ  ۛ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ  ۛ لَا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ  ۚ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرَدُّوٓاْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِىٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَآ أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَفِى شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَآ إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ

əлəм йə`тикум нəбə`уль-лəз̃иинə миŋŋ-ќōбликум ќōуми нууhиу-вə'əəдиу-вəc̃əмуудə вəəльлəз̃иинə мимм-бə'диhим, лəə йə'лəмуhум ильлəл-лаh, джəə`əтhум русулюhумм-би-ль-бэййинəəти фəрōддуу əйдийəhум фии əфвəəhиhим вəќōōлюю иннəə кəфəрнəə бимəə урсильтумм-биhи вə`иннəə лəфии шəккимм-миммəə тəд'уунəнəə илəйhи мурииб

Has there not come to you the account of those who were before you—the people of Noah, ‘Ad and Thamud, and those who were after them, whom no one knows [well] except Allah? Their apostles brought them manifest proofs, but they did not respond to them, and said, ‘We disbelieve in what you have been sent with. Indeed we have grave doubts concerning that to which you invite us.’

 ۞ قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِى ٱللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ  ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى  ۚ قَالُوٓاْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ

ќōōлəт русулюhум əфиил-лаhи шəккун фəəтырис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрд, йəд'уукум лийəґфирō лəкум-миŋŋ-з̃унуубикум вəйу`əххырōкум илəə əджəлимм-мусəммəн, ќōōлюю ин əŋŋтум ильлəə бəшəрумм-миc̃люнəə туриидуунə əŋŋ-тəсуддуунəə 'əммəə кəəнə йə'буду əəбəə`унəə фə`туунəə бисультōōнимм-мубиин

Their apostles said, ‘Is there any doubt about Allah, the originator of the heavens and the earth?! He calls you to forgive you a part of your sins, and grants you respite until a specified time.’ They said, ‘You are nothing but humans like us who desire to bar us from what our fathers used to worship. So bring us a manifest authority.’
