أَمْوَٰتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَآءٍ  ۖ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ

əмвəəтун ґōйру əhйəə, вəмəə йəш'уруунə əййəəнə йуб'əc̃уун

They are dead and lifeless, and are not aware when they will be resurrected.

إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ  ۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٌ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ

илəəhукум илəəhуу-вəəhид, фəəльлəз̃иинə лəə йу`минуунə би-ль-əəхырōти ќулююбуhум-муŋŋкирōтуу-вəhум-мустəкбируун

Your God is the One God. Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are in denial [of the truth], and they are arrogant.

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ  ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ

лəə джəрōмə əннəл-лаhə йə'лəму мəə йусирруунə вəмəə йу'линуун, иннəhу лəə йуhиббуль-мустəкбириин

Undoubtedly, Allah knows whatever they hide and whatever they disclose. Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُم مَّاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۙ قَالُوٓاْ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

вə`из̃əə ќиилə лəhум-мəəз̃əə əŋŋзəлə рōббукум ќōōлюю əсəəтыыруль-əувəлиин

When they are asked, ‘What is it that your Lord has sent down?’ They say, ‘Myths of the ancients,’

لِيَحْمِلُوٓاْ أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۙ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ  ۗ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ

лийəhмилюю əузəəрōhум кəəмилəтəй-йəумəль-ќийəəмəти вəмин əузəəриль-лəз̃иинə йудыллююнəhумм-биґōйри 'ильм, əлəə сəə`ə мəə йəзируун

[with the result] that they will bear the full weight of their own burden on the Day of Resurrection, along with part of the burden of those whom they mislead without any knowledge. Behold! Evil is what they bear!

قَدْ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنْيَٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

ќōд мəкəрōль-лəз̃иинə миŋŋ-ќōблиhим фə`əтəл-лаhу бунйəəнəhум-минəль-ќōвəə'иди фəхōррō 'əлэйhимус-сəќфу миŋŋ-фəуќиhим вə`əтəəhумуль-'əз̃əəбу мин həйc̃у лəə йəш'уруун

Those who were before them [had also] schemed. Then Allah came at their edifice from the foundations and the roof fell down upon them from above and the punishment overtook them whence they were not aware.

ثُمَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تُشَٰٓقُّونَ فِيهِمْ  ۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلْعِلْمَ إِنَّ ٱلْخِزْىَ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَٱلسُّوٓءَ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

c̃уммə йəумəль-ќийəəмəти йухзииhим вəйəќуулю əйнə шурōкəə`ийəль-лəз̃иинə куŋŋтум тушəəќќуунə фииhим, ќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə уутууль-'ильмə иннəль-хызйəль-йəумə вəс-суу`ə 'əлəəль-кəəфириин

Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them, and say, ‘Where are My “partners” for whose sake you used to defy [Allah]?’ Those who were given knowledge will say, ‘Indeed today disgrace and distress pursue the faithless.’

ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ  ۖ فَأَلْقَوُاْ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِن سُوٓءٍۭ  ۚ بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

əльлəз̃иинə тəтəвəффəəhумуль-мəлəə`икəту з̃ōōлимии əŋŋфусиhим, фə`əльќōвус-сəлəмə мəə куннəə нə'мəлю миŋŋ-суу, бəлəə иннəл-лаhə 'əлиимумм-бимəə куŋŋтум тə'мəлююн

—Those whom the angels take away while they were wronging themselves. Thereat they submit: ‘We were not doing any evil!’ ‘Yes, [the angels say to them,] indeed Allah knows best what you used to do!

فَٱدْخُلُوٓاْ أَبْوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا  ۖ فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

фəəдхулюю əбвəəбə джəhəннəмə хōōлидиинə фииhəə, фəлəби`сə мəc̃вəəль-мутəкəббириин

Enter the gates of hell to remain in it [forever]. Evil is the [final] abode of the arrogant.’

 ۞ وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْاْ مَاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ  ۚ قَالُواْ خَيْرًا  ۗ لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ  ۚ وَلَدَارُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ  ۚ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

вəќиилə лильлəз̃иинə-ттəќōу мəəз̃əə əŋŋзəлə рōббукум, ќōōлюю хōйрō, лильлəз̃иинə əhсəнуу фии həəз̃иhид-дунйəə həсəнəh, вəлəдəəруль-əəхырōти хōйр, вəлəни'мə дəəруль-муттəќиин

But those who were Godwary will be asked, ‘What is it that your Lord has sent down?’ They will say, ‘Good.’ For those who do good in this world there will be a good [reward], and the abode of the Hereafter is better, and the abode of the Godwary is surely excellent:
