أَن دَعَوْاْ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًا

əŋŋ-дə'əу лир-рōhмəəни вəлəдə

that they should ascribe a son to the All-beneficent!

وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا

вəмəə йəмм-бəґии лир-рōhмəəни əй-йəттəхыз̃ə вəлəдə

It does not behoove the All-beneficent to take a son.

إِن كُلُّ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَبْدًا

иŋŋ-куллю мəŋŋ-фиис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды ильлəə əəтиир-рōhмəəни 'əбдə

There is none in the heavens and the earth but he comes to the All-beneficent as a servant.

لَّقَدْ أَحْصَىٰهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا

лəќōд əhсōōhум вə'əддəhум 'əддə

Certainly He has counted them [all] and numbered them precisely,

وَكُلُّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَرْدًا

вəкуллюhум əəтииhи йəумəль-ќийəəмəти фəрдə

and each of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection.

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّا

иннəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу вə'əмилююс-сōōлиhəəти сəйəдж'əлю лəhумур-рōhмəəну вуддə

Indeed those who have faith and do righteous deeds—the All-beneficent will endear them [to His creation].

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا

фə`иннəмəə йəссəрнəəhу билисəəникə литубəшширō биhиль-муттəќиинə вəтуŋŋз̃ирō биhи ќōумəл-люддə

Indeed We have made it simple in your language so that you may give good news thereby to the Godwary and warn with it a disputatious lot.

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا

вəкəм əhлəкнəə ќōблəhум-миŋŋ-ќōрнин həль туhиссу минhум-мин əhəдин əу тəсмə'у лəhум рикзə

How many a generation We have destroyed before them! Can you descry any one of them, or hear from them so much as a murmur?
