سَنُلْقِى فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلرُّعْبَ بِمَآ أَشْرَكُواْ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ سُلْطَٰنًا  ۖ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ  ۚ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

сəнульќии фии ќулююбиль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруур-ру'бə бимəə əшрōкуу биль-лəhи мəə лəм йунəззиль биhи сультōōнə, вəмə`вəəhумун-нəəр, вəби`сə мəc̃вəəз̃-з̃ōōлимиин

We shall cast terror into the hearts of the faithless because of their ascribing partners to Allah, for which He has not sent down any authority, and their refuge shall be the Fire, and evil is the [final] abode of the wrongdoers.

وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥٓ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِۦ  ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَٰزَعْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَرَىٰكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ  ۚ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ  ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ  ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

вəлəќōд сōдəќōкумул-лаhу вə'дəhу из̃ тəhуссуунəhумм-би`из̃ниh, həттəə из̃əə фəшильтум вəтəнəəзə'тум фииль-əмри вə'əсōйтум-мимм-бə'ди мəə əрōōкум-мəə туhиббуун, миŋŋкум-мəй-йуриидуд-дунйəə вəмиŋŋкум-мəй-йуриидуль-əəхырōh, c̃уммə сōрōфəкум 'əнhум лийəбтəлийəкум, вəлəќōд 'əфəə 'əŋŋкум, вəл-лаhу з̃уу фəдлин 'əлəəль-му`миниин

Allah certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were slaying them with His leave, until you lost courage, disputed about the matter, and disobeyed after He showed you what you loved. Some among you desire this world, and some among you desire the Hereafter. Then He turned you away from them so that He might test you. Certainly He has excused you, for Allah is gracious to the faithful.

 ۞ إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُۥنَ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٍ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِىٓ أُخْرَىٰكُمْ فَأَثَٰبَكُمْ غَمًّۢا بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَآ أَصَٰبَكُمْ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

из̃ тус'идуунə вəлəə тəльвуунə 'əлəə əhəдиу-вəр-рōсуулю йəд'уукум фии ухрōōкум фə`əc̃əəбəкум ґōммəмм-биґōммил-ликəйлəə тəhзəнуу 'əлəə мəə фəəтəкум вəлəə мəə əсōōбəкум, вəл-лаhу хōбиирумм-бимəə тə'мəлююн

When you were fleeing without paying any attention to anyone, while the Apostle was calling you from your rear, He requited you with grief upon grief, so that you may not grieve for what you lose nor for what befalls you, and Allah is well aware of what you do.

ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُّعَاسًا يَغْشَىٰ طَآئِفَةً مِّنكُمْ  ۖ وَطَآئِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِٱللَّهِ غَيْرَ ٱلْحَقِّ ظَنَّ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ  ۖ يَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ مِن شَىْءٍ  ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُۥ لِلَّهِ  ۗ يُخْفُونَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِم مَّا لَا يُبْدُونَ لَكَ  ۖ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هَٰهُنَا  ۗ قُل لَّوْ كُنتُمْ فِى بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَتْلُ إِلَىٰ مَضَاجِعِهِمْ  ۖ وَلِيَبْتَلِىَ ٱللَّهُ مَا فِى صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

c̃уммə əŋŋзəлə 'əлэйкум-мимм-бə'диль-ґōмми əмəнəтəн-нну'əəсəй-йəґшəə тōō`ифəтəмм-миŋŋкум, вəтōō`ифəтун ќōд əhəммəтhум əŋŋфусуhум йəз̃уннуунə биль-лəhи ґōйрōль-həќќи з̃ōннəль-джəəhилиййəh, йəќуулююнə həль-лəнəə минəль-əмри миŋŋ-шэй, ќуль иннəль-əмрō кульлəhу лильлəh, йухфуунə фии əŋŋфусиhим-мəə лəə йубдуунə лəк, йəќуулююнə лəу кəəнə лəнəə минəль-əмри шэй`умм-мəə ќутильнəə həəhунəə, ќуль-лəу куŋŋтум фии буйуутикум лəбəрōзəль-лəз̃иинə кутибə 'əлэйhимуль-ќōтлю илəə мəдōōджи'иhим, вəлийəбтəлийəл-лаhу мəə фии судуурикум вəлийумəhhисō мəə фии ќулююбикум, вəл-лаhу 'əлиимумм-биз̃əəтис-судуур

Then He sent down to you safety after grief—a drowsiness that came over a group of you—while another group, anxious only about themselves, entertained false notions about Allah, notions of [pagan] ignorance. They say, ‘Do we have any role in the matter?’ Say, ‘Indeed the matter belongs totally to Allah.’ They hide in their hearts what they do not disclose to you. They say, ‘Had we any role in the matter, we would not have been slain here.’ Say, ‘Even if you had remained in your houses, those destined to be slain would have set out toward the places where they were laid to rest, so that Allah may test what is in your breasts, and that He may purge what is in your hearts, and Allah knows well what is in the breasts.’

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْاْ مِنكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْتَقَى ٱلْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا ٱسْتَزَلَّهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواْ  ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ  ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

иннəль-лəз̃иинə тəвəльлəу миŋŋкум йəумə-льтəќōōль-джəм'əəни иннəмəə-стəзəльлəhумуш-шэйтōōну бибə'ды мəə кəсəбуу, вəлəќōд 'əфəл-лаhу 'əнhум, иннəл-лаhə ґōфуурун həлиим

Those of you who fled on the day when the two hosts met, only Satan had made them stumble because of some of their deeds. Certainly, Allah has excused them, for Allah is all-forgiving, all-forbearing.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقَالُواْ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُواْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُواْ غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُواْ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُواْ وَمَا قُتِلُواْ لِيَجْعَلَ ٱللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ  ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

йəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу лəə тəкуунуу кəəльлəз̃иинə кəфəруу вəќōōлюю ли`ихвəəниhим из̃əə дōрōбуу фииль-əрды əу кəəнуу ґуззəль-лəу кəəнуу 'иŋŋдəнəə мəə мəəтуу вəмəə ќутилюю лийəдж'əлəл-лаhу з̃əəликə həсрōтəн фии ќулююбиhим, вəл-лаhу йуhйии вəйумиит, вəл-лаhу бимəə тə'мəлююнə бəсыыр

O you who have faith! Do not be like the faithless who say of their brethren, when they travel in the land or go into battle, ‘Had they stayed with us they would not have died or been killed,’ so that Allah may make it a regret in their hearts. But Allah gives life and brings death, and Allah watches what you do.

وَلَئِن قُتِلْتُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

вəлə`иŋŋ-ќутильтум фии сəбиилиль-лəhи əу муттум лəмəґфирōтумм-минəл-лаhи вəрōhмəтун хōйрумм-миммəə йəджмə'уун

If you are slain in the way of Allah, or die, forgiveness and mercy from Allah are surely better than what they amass.

وَلَئِن مُّتُّمْ أَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

вəлə`имм-муттум əу ќутильтум лə`илəл-лаhи туhшəруун

If you die or are slain, you will surely be mustered toward Allah.

فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمْ  ۖ وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ ٱلْقَلْبِ لَٱنفَضُّواْ مِنْ حَوْلِكَ  ۖ فَٱعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ  ۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ  ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ

фəбимəə рōhмəтимм-минəл-лаhи лиŋŋтə лəhум, вəлəу куŋŋтə фəз̃з̃ōн ґōлииз̃ōль-ќōльби лəəŋŋфəддуу мин həулик, фəə'фу 'əнhум вəəстəґфир лəhум вəшəəвирhум фииль-əмр, фə`из̃əə 'əзəмтə фəтəвəккəль 'əлəл-лаh, иннəл-лаhə йуhиббуль-мутəвəккилиин

It is by Allah’s mercy that you are gentle to them; had you been harsh and hardhearted, they would have surely scattered from around you. So excuse them and plead for forgiveness for them, and consult them in the affairs, and once you are resolved, put your trust in Allah. Indeed Allah loves those who trust in Him.

إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ  ۖ وَإِن يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَنصُرُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ  ۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

ий-йəŋŋсуркумул-лаhу фəлəə ґōōлибə лəкум, вə`ий-йəхз̃улькум фəмəŋŋ-з̃əəль-лəз̃ии йəŋŋсурукум-мимм-бə'диh, вə'əлəл-лаhи фəльйəтəвəккəлиль-му`минуун

If Allah helps you, no one can overcome you, but if He forsakes you, who will help you after Him? So in Allah let all the faithful put their trust.
