بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
иннəə джə'əльнəəhу ќур`əəнəн 'əрōбиййəль-лə'əльлəкум тə'ќилююн
We have made it an Arabic Quran so that you may exercise your reason,
وَإِنَّهُۥ فِىٓ أُمِّ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ
вə`иннəhу фии уммиль-китəəби лəдəйнəə лə'əлиййун həкиим
and it is sublime and wise with Us in the Mother Book.
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِينَ
əфəнəдрибу 'əŋŋкумуз̃-з̃икрō сōфhəн əŋŋ-куŋŋтум ќōумəмм-мусрифиин
Shall We keep back the Reminder from you and disregard you because you are an unrestrained lot?
وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن نَّبِىٍّ فِى ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
вəкəм əрсəльнəə мин-нəбиййин фииль-əувəлиин
How many a prophet We have sent to the former peoples!
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِىٍّ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
вəмəə йə`тииhим-мин-нəбиййин ильлəə кəəнуу биhи йəстəhзи`уун
There did not come to them any prophet but that they used to deride him.
فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
фə`əhлəкнəə əшəддə минhумм-бəтшəу-вəмəдōō мəc̃əлюль-əувəлиин
So We destroyed those who were stronger than these, and the example of the former peoples has already come to pass.
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
вəлə`иŋŋ-сə`əльтəhум-мəн хōлəќōс-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрдō лəйəќуулюннə хōлəќōhуннəль-'əзиизуль-'əлиим
If you ask them, ‘Who created the heavens and the earth?’ they will surely say, ‘The All-mighty, the All-knowing created them.’
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
əльлəз̃ии джə'əлə лəкумуль-əрдō мəhдəу-вəджə'əлə лəкум фииhəə субулəль-лə'əльлəкум тəhтəдуун
He, who made the earth a cradle for you, and made for you in it ways so that you may be guided [to your destinations],
