يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَسْـَٔلُواْ عَنْ أَشْيَآءَ إِن تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِن تَسْـَٔلُواْ عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنْهَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
йəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу лəə тəс`əлюю 'əн əшйəə`ə иŋŋ-тубдə лəкум тəсу`кум вə`иŋŋ-тəс`əлюю 'əнhəə hиинə йунəззəлюль-ќур`əəну тубдə лəкум 'əфəл-лаhу 'əнhəə, вəл-лаhу ґōфуурун həлиим
O you who have faith! Do not ask about things, which, if they are disclosed to you, will upset you. Yet if you ask about them while the Quran is being sent down, they shall be disclosed to you. Allah has excused it, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-forbearing.
قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُواْ بِهَا كَٰفِرِينَ
ќōд сə`əлəhəə ќōумумм-миŋŋ-ќōбликум c̃уммə əсбəhуу биhəə кəəфириин
Certainly some people asked about them before you and then came to disbelieve in them.
مَا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَحِيرَةٍ وَلَا سَآئِبَةٍ وَلَا وَصِيلَةٍ وَلَا حَامٍ ۙ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ ۖ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
мəə джə'əлəл-лаhу мимм-бəhиирōтиу-вəлəə сəə`ибəтиу-вəлəə вəсыылəтиу-вəлəə həəмин вəлəəкиннəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу йəфтəруунə 'əлəл-лаhиль-кəз̃иб, вə`əкc̃əруhум лəə йə'ќилююн
Allah has not prescribed any such thing as Bahirah, Sa’ibah, Waseelah, or Haam; but those who are faithless fabricate lies against Allah, and most of them do not exercise their reason.
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَآ ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ
вə`из̃əə ќиилə лəhум тə'əəлəу илəə мəə əŋŋзəлəл-лаhу вə`илəəр-рōсуули ќōōлюю həсбунəə мəə вəджəднəə 'əлэйhи əəбəə`əнəə, əвəлəу кəəнə əəбəə`уhум лəə йə'лəмуунə шэй`əу-вəлəə йəhтəдуун
When they are told, ‘Come to what Allah has sent down and [come] to the Apostle,’ they say, ‘Sufficient for us is what we have found our fathers following.’ What, even if their fathers did not know anything and were not guided?!
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۖ لَا يَضُرُّكُم مَّن ضَلَّ إِذَا ٱهْتَدَيْتُمْ ۚ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
йəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу 'əлэйкум əŋŋфусəкум, лəə йəдуррукум-мəŋŋ-дōльлə из̃əə-hтəдəйтум, илəл-лаhи мəрджи'укум джəмии'əн фəйунəбби`укумм-бимəə куŋŋтум тə'мəлююн
O you who have faith! Take care of your own souls. He who strays cannot hurt you if you are guided. To Allah will be the return of you all, whereat He will inform you concerning what you used to do.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ شَهَٰدَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ حِينَ ٱلْوَصِيَّةِ ٱثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ ءَاخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَصَٰبَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِٱللَّهِ إِنِ ٱرْتَبْتُمْ لَا نَشْتَرِى بِهِۦ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۙ وَلَا نَكْتُمُ شَهَٰدَةَ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّآ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلْءَاثِمِينَ
йəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃иинə əəмəнуу шəhəəдəту бэйникум из̃əə həдōрō əhəдəкумуль-мəуту hиинəль-вəсыййəти-c̃нəəни з̃əвəə 'əдлимм-миŋŋкум əу əəхōрōōни мин ґōйрикум ин əŋŋтум дōрōбтум фииль-əрды фə`əсōōбəткум-мусыыбəтуль-мəут, тəhбисуунəhумəə мимм-бə'дис-сōлəəти фəйуќсимəəни биль-лəhи ини-ртəбтум лəə нəштəрии биhи c̃əмəнəу-вəлəу кəəнə з̃əə ќурбəə вəлəə нəктуму шəhəəдəтəл-лаhи иннəə из̃əль-лəминəль-əəc̃имиин
O you who have faith! The witness between you, when death approaches any of you, while making a bequest, shall be two fair men from among yourselves—or two from among others, if you are journeying in the land and the affliction of death visits you. You shall detain the two of them after the prayer, and, if you have any doubt, they shall vow by Allah, ‘We will not sell it for any gain, even if it were a relative, nor will we conceal the testimony of Allah, for then we would indeed be among the sinners.’
فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنَّهُمَا ٱسْتَحَقَّآ إِثْمًا فَـَٔاخَرَانِ يَقُومَانِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَوْلَيَٰنِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِٱللَّهِ لَشَهَٰدَتُنَآ أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَٰدَتِهِمَا وَمَا ٱعْتَدَيْنَآ إِنَّآ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
фə`ин 'уc̃ирō 'əлəə əннəhумəə-стəhəќќōō иc̃мəн фə`əəхōрōōни йəќуумəəни мəќōōмəhумəə минəль-лəз̃иинə-стəhəќќō 'əлэйhимуль-əулəйəəни фəйуќсимəəни биль-лəhи лəшəhəəдəтунəə əhəќќу миŋŋ-шəhəəдəтиhимəə вəмəə-'тəдəйнəə иннəə из̃əль-лəминəз̃-з̃ōōлимиин
But if it is found that both of them were guilty of a sin, then two others shall stand up in their place from among those nearest in kinship to the claimants and swear by Allah: ‘Our testimony is surely truer than their testimony, and we have not transgressed, for then we would indeed be among the wrongdoers.’
ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتُواْ بِٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهَآ أَوْ يَخَافُوٓاْ أَن تُرَدَّ أَيْمَٰنٌۢ بَعْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ ۗ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسْمَعُواْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ
з̃əəликə əднəə əй-йə`туу биш-шəhəəдəти 'əлəə вəджhиhəə əу йəхōōфуу əŋŋ-турōддə əймəəнумм-бə'дə əймəəниhим, вəəттəќуул-лаhə вəəсмə'уу, вəл-лаhу лəə йəhдииль-ќōумəль-фəəсиќиин
That makes it likelier that they give the testimony in its genuine form, or fear that other oaths will be taken after their oaths. Be wary of Allah and listen, and Allah does not guide the transgressing lot.
۞ يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَآ أُجِبْتُمْ ۖ قَالُواْ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ
йəумə йəджмə'ул-лаhур-русулə фəйəќуулю мəəз̃əə уджибтум, ќōōлюю лəə 'ильмə лəнəə, иннəкə əŋŋтə 'əльлəəмуль-ґуйууб
The day Allah will gather the apostles and say, ‘What was the response to you?’ They will say, ‘We have no knowledge. Indeed You are knower of all that is Unseen.’
إِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَٰعِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِى عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا ۖ وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ ۖ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ ٱلطِّينِ كَهَيْـَٔةِ ٱلطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِى فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًۢا بِإِذْنِى ۖ وَتُبْرِئُ ٱلْأَكْمَهَ وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِى ۖ وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِى ۖ وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ عَنكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
из̃ ќōōлəл-лаhу йəə 'иисəə-бнə мəрйəмə-з̃кур ни'мəтии 'əлэйкə вə'əлəə вəəлидəтикə из̃ əййəттукə бирууhиль-ќудуси тукəллимун-нəəсə фииль-мəhди вəкəhлə, вə`из̃ 'əльлəмтукəль-китəəбə вəəльhикмəтə вəт-тəурōōтə вəəль`иŋŋджииль, вə`из̃ тəхлюќу минəт-тыыни кəhəй`əтит-тōйри би`из̃нии фəтəŋŋфуху фииhəə фəтəкууну тōйрōмм-би`из̃ний, вəтубри`уль-əкмəhə вəəль`əбрōсō би`из̃ний, вə`из̃ тухриджуль-мəутəə би`из̃ний, вə`из̃ кəфəфту бəнии исрōō`иилə 'əŋŋкə из̃ джи`тəhумм-би-ль-бэййинəəти фəќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу минhум ин həəз̃əə ильлəə сиhрумм-мубиин
When Allah will say, O Jesus son of Mary, remember My blessing upon you and upon your mother, when I strengthened you with the Holy Spirit, so you would speak to the people in the cradle and in adulthood, and when I taught you the Book and wisdom, the Torah and the Evangel, and when you would create from clay the form of a bird, with My leave, and you would breathe into it and it would become a bird, with My leave; and you would heal the blind and the leper, with My leave, and you would raise the dead, with My leave; and when I held off [the evil of] the Children of Israel from you when you brought them manifest proofs, whereat the faithless among them said, ‘This is nothing but plain magic.’
