وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ  ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا

вəкəз̃əəликə джə'əльнəə ликулли нəбиййин 'əдуувəмм-минəль-муджримиин, вəкəфəə бирōббикə həəдийəу-вəнəсыырō

That is how for every prophet We assigned an enemy from among the guilty, and your Lord suffices as helper and guide.

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ جُمْلَةً وَٰحِدَةً  ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ  ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَٰهُ تَرْتِيلًا

вəќōōлəль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу лəулəə нуззилə 'əлэйhиль-ќур`əəну джумлəтəу-вəəhидəh, кəз̃əəликə линуc̃əббитə биhи фу`əəдəк, вəрōттəльнəəhу тəртиилə

The faithless say, ‘Why has not the Quran been sent down to him all at once?’ So it was, that We may strengthen your heart with it, and We have recited it [to you] in a measured tone.

وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا

вəлəə йə`туунəкə бимəc̃əлин ильлəə джи`нəəкə би-ль-həќќи вə`əhсəнə тəфсиирō

They do not bring you any representation but that We bring you the truth [in reply to them] and the best exposition.

ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

əльлəз̃иинə йуhшəруунə 'əлəə вуджууhиhим илəə джəhəннəмə уулəə`икə шəррумм-мəкəəнəу-вə`əдōллю сəбиилə

Those who will be mustered [fallen] on their faces toward hell, they are the worse situated and further astray from the [right] way.

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ وَزِيرًا

вəлəќōд əəтəйнəə муусəəль-китəəбə вəджə'əльнəə мə'əhу əхōōhу həəруунə вəзиирō

Certainly We gave Moses the Book and We made Aaron, his brother, accompany him as a minister.

فَقُلْنَا ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَٰهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا

фəќульнəə-з̃həбəə илəəль-ќōумиль-лəз̃иинə кəз̃з̃əбуу би`əəйəəтинəə фəдəммəрнəəhум тəдмиирō

Then We said, ‘Let the two of you go to the people who have denied Our signs.’ Then We destroyed them utterly.

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُواْ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةً  ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

вəќōумə нууhиль-лəммəə кəз̃з̃əбуур-русулə əґрōќнəəhум вəджə'əльнəəhум лин-нəəси əəйəh, вə`ə'тəднəə лиз̃-з̃ōōлимиинə 'əз̃əəбəн əлиимə

And Noah’s people, We drowned them when they impugned the apostles, and We made them a sign for mankind, and We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.

وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَاْ وَأَصْحَٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًۢا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرًا

вə'əəдəу-вəc̃əмуудə вə`əсhəəбəр-рōсси вəќуруунəмм-бэйнə з̃əəликə кəc̃иирō

And ‘Ad and Thamud, and the people of Rass, and many generations between them.

وَكُلًّا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ ٱلْأَمْثَٰلَ  ۖ وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا

вəкульлəн дōрōбнəə лəhуль-əмc̃əəль, вəкульлəн тəббəрнəə тəтбиирō

For each of them We drew examples, and each We destroyed utterly.

وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْاْ عَلَى ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوْءِ  ۚ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُواْ يَرَوْنَهَا  ۚ بَلْ كَانُواْ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا

вəлəќōд əтəу 'əлəəль-ќōрйəтиль-лəтии умтырōт мəтōрōс-сəу, əфəлəм йəкуунуу йəрōунəhəə, бəль кəəнуу лəə йəрджуунə нушуурō

Certainly they must have passed the town on which an evil shower was rained. Have they not seen it? Rather, they did not expect resurrection [to happen].
