لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ

лəə з̃ōлиилиу-вəлəə йуґнии минəл-лаhəб

neither shady nor of any avail against the flames.

إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ

иннəhəə тəрмии бишəрōрин кəəльќōср

Indeed it throws up [giant] sparks like castles,

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ

кə`əннəhу джимəəлəтун суфр

[bright] like yellow camels.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

вəйлюй-йəумə`из̃ил-ли-ль-мукəз̃з̃ибиин

Woe to the deniers on that day!

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

həəз̃əə йəуму лəə йəŋŋтыќуун

This is a day wherein they will not speak,

وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ

вəлəə йу`з̃əну лəhум фəйə'тəз̃ируун

nor will they be permitted to offer excuses.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

вəйлюй-йəумə`из̃ил-ли-ль-мукəз̃з̃ибиин

Woe to the deniers on that day!

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ  ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

həəз̃əə йəумуль-фəсль, джəмə'нəəкум вəəль`əувəлиин

‘This is the Day of Judgement. We have brought you together with the former generations.

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ

фə`иŋŋ-кəəнə лəкум кəйдун фəкиидуун

If you have any stratagems [left], try them out against Me!’

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

вəйлюй-йəумə`из̃ил-ли-ль-мукəз̃з̃ибиин

Woe to the deniers on that day!
