وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ

вə`из̃əəр-русулю уќќитəт

and time is set for the apostles [to bear witness]

لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ

ли`əййи йəумин уджджилəт

—for what day has [all] that been set [to occur]?

لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ

лийəумиль-фəсль

For the Day of Judgement!

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ

вəмəə əдрōōкə мəə йəумуль-фəсль

And what will show you what is the Day of Judgement!?

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

вəйлюй-йəумə`из̃ил-ли-ль-мукəз̃з̃ибиин

Woe to the deniers on that day!

أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

əлəм нуhликиль-əувəлиин

Did We not destroy the former generations,

ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

c̃уммə нутби'уhумуль-əəхыриин

[and] then made the latter ones follow them?

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

кəз̃əəликə нəф'əлю би-ль-муджримиин

That is how We deal with the guilty.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

вəйлюй-йəумə`из̃ил-ли-ль-мукəз̃з̃ибиин

Woe to the deniers on that day!

أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ

əлəм нəхлюккум-мимм-мəə`имм-мəhиин

Have We not created you from a base fluid,
