إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرْءَانٌ كَرِيمٌ

иннəhу лəќур`əəнун кəриим

This is indeed a noble Quran,

فِى كِتَٰبٍ مَّكْنُونٍ

фии китəəбимм-мəкнуун

in a guarded Book

لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ

лəə йəмəссуhу ильлəəль-мутōhhəруун

—no one touches it except the pure ones—

تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

тəŋŋзиилюмм-мир-рōббиль-'əəлəмиин

sent down gradually from the Lord of all the worlds.

أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدْهِنُونَ

əфəбиhəəз̃əəль-həдииc̃и əŋŋтум-мудhинуун

What! Do you take lightly this discourse?

وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ

вəтəдж'əлююнə ризќōкум əннəкум тукəз̃з̃ибуун

And make your denial of it your vocation?

فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ

фəлəулəə из̃əə бəлəґōтиль-hульќуум

So when it reaches the throat [of the dying person],

وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍ تَنظُرُونَ

вə`əŋŋтум hиинə`из̃ин тəŋŋз̃уруун

and at that moment you are looking on [at his bedside]

وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ

вəнəhну əќрōбу илəйhи миŋŋкум вəлəəкиль-лəə тубсыруун

—and We are nearer to him than you are, though you do not perceive—

فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ

фəлəулəə иŋŋ-куŋŋтум ґōйрō мəдииниин

then why do you not restore it, if you are not subject

تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

тəрджи'уунəhəə иŋŋ-куŋŋтум сōōдиќиин

[to Divine dispensation], if you are truthful?

فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ

фə`əммəə иŋŋ-кəəнə минəль-муќōррōбиин

Then, if he be of those brought near,

فَرَوْحٌ وَرَيْحَانٌ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٍ

фəрōуhуу-вəрōйhəəнуу-вəджəннəту нə'иим

then ease, abundance, and a garden of bliss.

وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

вə`əммəə иŋŋ-кəəнə мин əсhəəбиль-йəмиин

And if he be of the People of the Right Hand,

فَسَلَٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

фəсəлəəмуль-лəкə мин əсhəəбиль-йəмиин

then [he will be told,] ‘Peace be on you, from the People of the Right Hand!’

وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

вə`əммəə иŋŋ-кəəнə минəль-мукəз̃з̃ибиинəд-дōōллиин

But if he be of the impugners, the astray ones,

فَنُزُلٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ

фəнузулюмм-мин həмиим

then a treat of boiling water

وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ

вəтəслийəту джəhиим

and entry into hell.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ

иннə həəз̃əə лəhувə həќќуль-йəќиин

Indeed this is certain truth.

فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

фəсəббиh бисми рōббикəль-'əз̃ыым

So celebrate the Name of your Lord, the All-supreme!

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ  ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

сəббəhə лильлəhи мəə фиис-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрды вəhувəль-'əзиизуль-həкиим

Whatever there is in the heavens and [whatever there is on] the earth glorifies Allah and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.

لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ  ۖ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ  ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

лəhу мулькус-сəмəəвəəти вəəль`əрд, йуhйии вəйумиит, вəhувə 'əлəə кулли шэй`ин ќōдиир

To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth: He gives life and brings death, and He has power over all things.

هُوَ ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَٱلْءَاخِرُ وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ وَٱلْبَاطِنُ  ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

hувəль-əувəлю вəəль`əəхыру вəз̃-з̃ōōhиру вəəльбəəтын, вəhувə бикулли шэй`ин 'əлиим

He is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, and He has knowledge of all things.
