يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِى مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍۭ بِبَنِيهِ
йубəссōруунəhум, йəвəддуль-муджриму лəу йəфтəдии мин 'əз̃əəби йəуми`из̃имм-бибəнииh
[though] they will be placed within each other’s sight. The guilty one will wish he could ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children,
وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِى تُـْٔوِيهِ
вəфəсыылəтиhиль-лəтии ту`вииh
his kin, which had sheltered him
وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ
вəмəŋŋ-фииль-əрды джəмии'əн c̃уммə йуŋŋджииh
and all those who are upon the earth, if that might deliver him.
تَدْعُواْ مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
тəд'уу мəн əдбəрō вəтəвəльлəə
It invites him, who has turned back [from the truth] and forsaken [it],
۞ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
иннəль-иŋŋсəəнə хулиќō həлюю'ə
Indeed man has been created covetous:
