وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُواْ لِى فَٱعْتَزِلُونِ

вə`иль-лəм ту`минуу лии фəə'тəзилююн

And if you do not believe me, keep out of my way.’

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُونَ

фəдə'əə рōббəhу əннə həə`улəə`и ќōумумм-муджримуун

Then he invoked his Lord, [saying,] ‘These are indeed a guilty lot.’

فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ

фə`əсри би'ибəəдии лэйлəн иннəкум-муттəбə'уун

[Allah told him,] ‘Set out by night with My servants; for you will be pursued.

وَٱتْرُكِ ٱلْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا  ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ

вəəтрукиль-бəhрō рōhвə, иннəhум джуŋŋдумм-муґрōќуун

Leave behind the sea unmoving; for they will be a drowned host.’

كَمْ تَرَكُواْ مِن جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

кəм тəрōкуу миŋŋ-джəннəəтиу-вə'уйуун

How many gardens and springs did they leave behind!

وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ

вəзуруу'иу-вəмəќōōмин кəриим

Fields and splendid places,

وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُواْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ

вəнə'мəтин кəəнуу фииhəə фəəкиhиин

and the affluence wherein they rejoiced!

كَذَٰلِكَ  ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ

кəз̃əəлик, вə`əурōc̃нəəhəə ќōумəн əəхōриин

So it was; and We bequeathed them to another people.

فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنظَرِينَ

фəмəə бəкəт 'əлэйhимус-сəмəə`у вəəль`əрду вəмəə кəəнуу муŋŋз̃ōриин

So neither the sky wept for them, nor the earth; nor were they granted any respite.

وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ

вəлəќōд нəджджəйнəə бəнии исрōō`иилə минəль-'əз̃əəбиль-муhиин

Certainly We delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment
