وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
вəəдж'əл-лии лисəəнə сыдќин фииль-əəхыриин
Confer on me a worthy repute among the posterity,
وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
вəəдж'əльнии миу-вəрōc̃əти джəннəтин-нə'иим
and make me one of the heirs to the paradise of bliss.
وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
вəəґфир ли`əбии иннəhу кəəнə минəд-дōōллиин
Forgive my father, for he is one of those who are astray.
وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ
вəлəə тухзинии йəумə йуб'əc̃уун
Do not disgrace me on the day that they will be resurrected,
يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ
йəумə лəə йəŋŋфə'у мəəлюу-вəлəə бəнуун
the day when neither wealth nor children will avail,
إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
ильлəə мəн əтəл-лаhə биќōльбин сəлиим
except him who comes to Allah with a sound heart,’
وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
вə`узлифəтиль-джəннəту ли-ль-муттəќиин
and paradise will be brought near for the Godwary,
وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ
вəбурризəтиль-джəhииму ли-ль-ґōōвиин
and hell will be brought into view for the perverse,
وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ
вəќиилə лəhум əйнə мəə куŋŋтум тə'будуун
and they shall be told: ‘Where is that which you used to worship
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ
миŋŋ-дууниль-лəhи həль йəŋŋсуруунəкум əу йəŋŋтəсыруун
besides Allah? Do they help you, or do they help each other?’
فَكُبْكِبُواْ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ
фəкубкибуу фииhəə hум вəəльґōōвуун
Then they will be cast into it on their faces—they and the perverse,
وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ
вəджунууду иблиисə əджмə'уун
and the hosts of Iblis all together.
قَالُواْ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ
ќōōлюю вəhум фииhəə йəхтəсымуун
They will say, as they wrangle in it [together],
تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
тəл-лаhи иŋŋ-куннəə лəфии дōлəəлимм-мубиин
‘By Allah, we had indeed been in manifest error
إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
из̃ нусəувиикумм-бирōббиль-'əəлəмиин
when we equated you with the Lord of all the worlds!
وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
вəмəə əдōльлəнəə ильлəəль-муджримуун
No one led us astray except the guilty.
فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
фəлəу əннə лəнəə кəррōтəн фəнəкуунə минəль-му`миниин
Had there been another turn for us, we would be among the faithful.’
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
иннə фии з̃əəликə лə`əəйəh, вəмəə кəəнə əкc̃əруhум-му`миниин
There is indeed a sign in that; but most of them do not have faith.
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
вə`иннə рōббəкə лəhувəль-'əзиизур-рōhиим
Indeed your Lord is the All-mighty, the All-merciful.
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
кəз̃з̃əбəт ќōуму нууhинль-мурсəлиин
The people of Noah impugned the apostles
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
из̃ ќōōлə лəhум əхууhум нууhун əлəə тəттəќуун
when Noah, their brother, said to them, ‘Will you not be wary [of Allah]?
إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
иннии лəкум рōсуулюн əмиин
Indeed I am a trusted apostle [sent] to you.
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
фəəттəќуул-лаhə вə`əтыы'уун
So be wary of Allah and obey me.
وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
вəмəə əс`əлюкум 'əлэйhи мин əджр, ин əджрийə ильлəə 'əлəə рōббиль-'əəлəмиин
I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward lies only with the Lord of all the worlds.
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
фəəттəќуул-лаhə вə`əтыы'уун
So be wary of Allah and obey me.’
